Editing & autosave

Clicking a step opens the inspector — a right-hand drawer with the step editor and live preview for email/SMS. Leaving the inspector does not discard unsaved field edits until you navigate away from the builder (you'll get a browser confirm if dirty).

What Save writes

• Step title and wait delay
• Incentive selection (config)
• Email preview / body / CTA or SMS body

Autosave

While the inspector form is dirty, Declined autosaves every 10 seconds. The Save icon shows a green check when everything is persisted. Hover the Save control to see a live countdown until the next autosave.

Reorder & add

Reordering and adding steps persist immediately through the steps API (they do not wait for the 10s timer). New steps from the + menu are appended to the end of the sequence.
